Welcome! My Mission at Lynnette Dhliwayo Interiors LLC is to Inspire you, Create for you, and Execute beautiful interiors with meaning and purpose for your home and those who live in it. I desire to inspire my clients and whomever I encounter with custom curated interior designs and décor. The goal is to cater to each client in a way that suits their lifestyle, design aesthetic and budget. Creating spaces for you that are functional, timeless (not trendy) and sophisticated. Delivering results that are satisfactory to the client, budget friendly and within a reasonable time frame.
My name is Lynnette and I am the principal designer of LynnetteDhliwayoInteriors. I am a wife and a mom to three children whom I absolutely adore. As a mom and a designer I know the challenges moms face to keep home beautiful yet functional.Its not an easy fit but with great design solutions its attainable. I hear a lot of people say they want to wait till the kids are older to update their furniture , here’s my take: Life is being lived now, Live it in a home you love!
I take pride in designing beautiful homes for my clients and for my family, by taking purposeful consideration to ones lifestyle, personality and values. I am detailed oriented and that’s why thorough research goes into my designs for every client, to ensure I understand the vision of my client, in order for it to be perfectly executed. I think people work hard and deserve a space that is beautifully designed to serve them better physically, mentally and emotionally. After all environment/atmosphere is everything!!! Why experience restoration, renewal and luxury on vacation only , when you can create it in your home for a lifetime?
At a young age I grew to have a love for textiles as I took on sewing in school and as my mother was a tailor for bedding and pillows. I always knew my passion had to do with enhancing the experience in the home and so design comes so naturally to me and I know it is my purpose to help others experience a better atmosphere in their homes. Prior to becoming an Interior Designer, I worked in the Financial services industry, preparing financials for Hedge funds and I am grateful for the knowledge that I gained in that season.
My christian faith is a big part of who I am, and I hope to encourage and inspire the people around me with my gift as a designer. Home is a big part of what shapes us to be who we are. I firmly believe that your home or space should reflect who you are, what makes you happy and feel renewed. It should tell a story and leave an impression on those who enter your home and even those who live in it. After all, atmosphere is everything, right? I think I already mention that :). With that being said, my designs are created for homes that can be lived in, while maintaining an element of elegance and sophistication. I address this by incorporating durable and quality textiles that endure everyday messes from children, pets and occasional mishaps.
